I posted this question on the Table hopping/Strolling Magic forum, but maybe someone here could better answer this question.
Does anyone know of the best way to carry music on themselves while strolling. Say you want to carry an ipod and play music out loud for spectators. I guess what I'm looking for is the best mini speaker set up that can be easily carried on your body. It has to be battery operated or rechargable. Music should be loud and clear. I haven't been able to find anything adequate. Any audiophiles out there have a suggestion? Thanks, Ken |

I think you can use some flat-panel laptop speakers for this. You'll have to figure out how to rig them on your costume so they fit; I guess if you have one of those costumes that's sort of eccentric and full of details then you could have speakers hidden in it.
Take a look at these, at Best Buy: http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Insignia%26%......&st=flat panel speakers&cp=1&lp=6 |

Jeff,
This may be the best yet. It's gonna take some work, but has possibilities. Thanks, Ken |

Nothing you carry on your body will work ver well, as they have to be amplifies speakers, battery powerd. And something you cannot get around, size matters. But you can try. An alternative with awsome sound though is Altec Lansing IM600, its a docking station that fits on a small Harbin Table, and the sound is awsome, rechargable batteries. Search Ebay. The entire unit will fit one of thos double CD cases by case logic. Great for portable sound.
