After topiting a pack of cards, I pull them from my mouth...OK...I want to keep doing this at random times throughout my stand up...SO...Please advise me of different places to grab "loads" of cards...
The first load (of cards) comes simply from my front pocket, but I'd like to put a load or two in my vest. I wear an open (unbuttoned) vest so does anyone know of a really good card "holder" that sets inside the vest?? |

One of the best card holders is the Excelsior or butterfly paper clip with pin attached, just tape it on. Purchase at any office supply store.
You have not mentioned or posted a pick of your stage set up. With repeat productions, take a look at your table and equipment, look to use the "one ahead" theory. Even though you choose to only wear a vest, the back can be used as a place to obtain objects. This of course requires very strong misdirection on your part. |

Wmhegbli - thank you for your reply. I misdirect 30 times per night at restaurants so this sounds great. Can you tell me more about this "one ahead" theory?
My stage set up isn't like yours probably - 70% of my market is still children shows because I've only been back in the business for a year now. So most of the time, I'm mobile, working out of your standard case that unfolds and swings upwards and provides a table top? Do you know what I'm trying to describe? |

One ahead to my understanding is when you put something else away you obtain something unseen. Or when you pick one thing up, you are picking up two (or more).
