I don't much like to applaud the masters much ...but today was quite s surprising day for me.. instead of springing for the $600 for a booth at the chamber's small business expo today possibly hawking my talents...I decided to scope the place out armed with only.....keymaster. Boy did I have a good time ..going booth to booth finding my way around .... of course these boothpeople all have to be forcibly charming but ol' keymaster really got the reactions.. I know I will get the work out of this but was so surprised at how consistently I got such a great reaction in such a "sober crowd" ... this all happenned today... with free admisssion no less. also as a testimonial I wanted to say the talk on this Café pushed me to this trick which I truly have no regret... it really held its own...almost unexpectedly.
Craig.. I am a big fan applying lots of your ideas... where do I send the royalty checks to the bookings I expect to get from today's dalliances when I simply put a few keys in a few ladies' hands?

eternally now grateful

Marty

P.S. each time before I showed it I gave credit to a "magician in Great Britain"
(ok so I wanted to express some distiction among the rank and file unimaginative types around here)

Hey Marty.

Great story thanks so much for sharing with us.

Keymaster is a great routine, I have had so much positive feedback on this effect and continue to do so to this day. What I like best about it is that it is an easy routine to perform and you can concentrate on the presentation and really milk ever last bit of magic out the routine.

Have you played around with combining keymaster with proflight?

Got the tip on proflight..been studying the posts here and put it on my list... will end up springin for it sooner or later for sure ( Ilike all the rest of us here we all have so many ring things)

You're right about the emphasis on the presentation... but what I was trying to get across to the group here is that keys are non threatening and rather universal in acceptance....rather than sponge balls or strange size coins (not below my dignity just maybe a step off from conventional items one carries)Keys seem to be something very easy to put in one's hands especially in this venue.

such a modest little trick becomes so profitable for me
