OK, so here's a weird one that I definitely need some help working out. A co-worker and I are supposed to emcee a company awards banquet that has a French theme. He and I have been asked to appear in French chef uniforms, with the hats and the whole deal. We need to roughly do about 5 minutes of some kind of routine that is supposed to be funny, before we start introducing various awards presenters.

So my co-worker (who is not a magician) came up with this idea that we could do some sort of crazy cooking routine, where we toss a bunch of very strange ingredients into a blender or mixer or whatever, and then drink (or eat) the mixture. The idea reminds me of the old SNL "Bass-o-Matic" bit.

Anyway, I'm somewhat interested in the idea but don't quite know how to pull it off. We could throw a lot of things in a blender and blend it all together, but I need to then figure out how to make it look like we are pouring the mixture into glasses that we drink. Any ideas?

You could do it with a blender switch. When you first run the blender take note of the color and texture of stuff you end up with in the container. Now prepare a second blender container by painting the outside to look like the first. The inside is left clean and pure. You pour some water or kool-aid (black or dark green kool-aid can be made by mixing colors to get something that looks yucky but tastes just fine) into the duplicate blender. Your final ingredients to drop into this kool-aid "soup" are some strawberries that have been painted with blue food coloring so they appear to be rotting and mouldy or other things that will make the kool-aid lumpy and go "plop, flop, glop" when poured out. However, the concoction should be perfectly drinkable. If it stains your teeth when you smile, so much the better. The switch is made after you do a first blending and pretend to take a taste with a spoon. You both find it "needs something" and as you go scrounging around for the final ingredients, you leave the "bad" container in your table or bar and bring out the "good" container to finish the act.
