Does anyone know where I can find one of these gimmicked coins??

It is NOT the usual Karate Coin that is sold in stores, but your finger enters the "EDGE" of the coin.

Hi Salby,

I've got one, but don't want to part with it. I probably got mine in the early 80s.
I haven't seen them around since then.

I put a little double sided tape inside it to make it stay on the finger better.

I got mine at a Paul Harris lecture of all places back in the '80s. I haven't seen them since, either. I was always under the impression that this was a Doug Bennett trick, but I guess not if that's what it says in the magazine.

This was the only Karate coin I had for 30 years. I always just tossed a half in the air, yelled HAAA, and punctured in on the edge.

Then along came mb's Crimp Karate Koin. This routine takes the effect to a whole new level. Of course the coin used is different. Highly recommended!

Hopefully your persistence will have dividends. I was looking for a Bob Solari item for years with no luck. Finally, I broke down and contacted Bob directly, and you know what? He had three left. You might try the originator and/or the manufacturer if you know who that is.
