They don't make a better stage manager than Richard Hughes.

I am not a stage manager and have never claimed to be...I just try to keep things moving. Mark Holstein is the Stage Manager at Abbott's. I just push boxes and pull curtains.
But thanks for the thought anyway. Richard

I will be there with my son. This is the first time at the Abbott's convention for us. Mark Holstein highly recommends this one. It should be fun.

I have the great luxury of living only 45 minutes away from Colon- so I always go to every evening show and pop in and out during the week between work hours. I can honestly say "Magic Week" improves every year- I think I enjoyed myself more last year than ever before. The evening shows and the matinee were top quality. With Abbott's, FAB Magic, Sterlini Magic, additional dealers at Abbotts', street dealers, multiple lectures, contests and shows: there is plenty to do! Duane Laflin's lecture you cannot afford to miss if you are an FCMer. I also enjoy Rick Fisher's wonderful hospitality at FAB- it gives folks like myself who don't have a room a place to hang out, laugh and share before and after the shows. See you there!

Plus, FAB Maigc is just a neat place to hang out- Rick provides the chairs and the roof over your head. That means a lot to many of us to give us a location to gab between lectures and after shows- much appreciated! So buy something from him too- Rick has both new and used items. Ask Krag (a former magic shop owner himself) to demonstrate- he literally loves to show you stuff you can do and use- including giving you lots of new ideas. He showed me his invisible ink routine last year- I still have it and use it. Krag's wife got for my wife last year a funny gag note from Gay Blackstone herself- it is still on my refrigerator door.
