I never draw attention to it and say, "This is my MetroCard holder". I simply take it out, pull my MetroCard out of it, put the card aside, casually show both sides of the Wow to show that it's clear. People can see what it is for themselves, and I've never had anyone question it. If you're in an area where train tickets and these kinds of passes aren't as common, stick 1-2 business cards in it. Treat it the same as with the MetroCard idea. People will see that there are business cards in there and view it as some kind of small business card holder. No need to over-prove and spell it out for them. I'd initially held off on buying the original Wow, because I thought there would be TONS of heat on the gimmick. Then, I would continually see my friend Magick Balay, who demos at Fantasma Magic, repeatedly perform the effect using the "magicians insurance" angle for magicians and laypeople. Never once did I see anyone question the sleeve or ask to examine it. After that, I was sold, and I've never had anyone question me either. Kevin

Can you really remove the card holder from the new 2.0 version?
I just watched the DVD and there was nothing said about it. I was under the impression that this was one of the differences in the 2.0 version. Robert |

Man, I am truly excited about this arriving in my mailbox soon. It has been cooking in the back of my head for ages, and I finally just GAVE IN. Now the anticipation is killing me.
It looks like an effect that would be just plain FUN to perform. Can't wait.

I have the original and although I love it. I hate how delicate it is to walk around with. I really hope 2.0 is more like a red headed step chid. (CAN TAKE A BEATING)

So there is a certain fragility to the product, then?

I also have the original! Haven't ordered 2.0 yet but after owning WOW for so long, even after storing it in my suit breast pocket with other g****ck cards, it does get scratched up pretty easily. I used it ALOT and it is definitely one of the most amazing things you will perform!

Being new to this effect I'm wondering which is more visual the face up or face down My first instinct would be to say the face up.

I just received the face up version yesterday and I love it. Easy to use, and in my opinion it isn't too delicate. I don't think I would want to sit down with it in my back pocket, but then I wouldn't sit down with a card in my back pocket unless I didn't mind the card being bent.
