Hi Forum,
I want to start with loops and did some research on which thread to use. I decided to use IET V3 but here in germany there is no chance to get it. Unfortunatly I am not successful in finding any supplier outside germany, too. I'd like to ask if there's anybody out there who can provide some information where to order the IET. Thank you very much - Ralph |

Hi,
thanks a lot for the quick replies. Well, this is what I didn'T expect to happen :-( Besides Yigal's loops (for which I only found bad reviews?!) I now found PET 2.0 and thread from Ben Harris. Looks like I have to find some new reviews ... Is there something like a follow up (besides Yigal)? Thanks again - Ralph |

Good Point Ralph
For first time I bought some loops, at first I never liked using things like this but I'd thought I would try it for Haunted Deck trick. It was £8.99 for 5 of these things, very expensive. Being new, 3 broke instant just tryin to mvoe the deck. On my last 2 and they are very baggy and stretching. Is there something else which is a better quality than LOOPS? Am I missing soemthing or is LOOPS the best way to go and I just need practice? I find my self double lapping the loop around my hand works best.... but its thicker and easier to see. Sorry to hijack thread! |

Have you considered the possibility of learning some basic IT tricks before stepping up to the next level?
IT is super cheap and easy to work with. LOOPS are expensive and considerably trickier. Yes you can do things with LOOPS you can't do with regular IT. But IT is pretty freakin' cool stuff in it's own right.

I have used PET 2.0 before.
It is a relatively cheap option, quite invisible but not very strong. So depends on what effect you want to perform, you might face some limitions. BTW ... IT is IET without the "E' characteristic. |

I want to only do haunted deck with loops, is there anything similar to loops that's stronger and cheaper?

Get "Million Dollar Knot" and tie your own.

Mesika Elastics is a great value at a 100 ft. So you have to tie your own knots. The Benefit is that you can make them longer and create way more effects from further away. Example: You can wear one like a necklace and stretch to nearly three times its own length. Also as a added tip for haunted deck. Split the deck by a third and not a half less strain on the elastic. Mesika Elastics - under 20 dollars American Hope that offers you some help.
