Is this wallet big enough to hold a coin envelope with a card in it? The envelope that a poker size card just barely fits in.

thanks.

I have a JOL mini Himber and this is what I use for cards.

I love these things. I looked for a while to find a coin envelope that would do the job... But no luck.

They are black but I've never had any problem because of that. If I want them signed I just use a silver sharpie.

Thanks for that link.

I currently have tons of the manilla coin envelopes and would like to know if they work as well.

What size are they?

About the biggest envelope you could fit into it would be roughly 2 3/4" x 3 3/4".

That's from measuring mine.

Like I said, I never found a coin envelope that would fit right.

I all you need is a single envelope that will be used over and over, why not make one?

I just bought this wallet. I've never owned a JOL product, but know their reputation for quality. Having said that, I'm really disappointed. It's not as thin as I expected and it won't lie flat even when open. Not sure if I got a lemon or if this is normal. Any suggestions? Can I flatten it?

I would suggest you contact the dealer you bought it from. I have used a JOL Plus Wallet for the past 5 years and it is an excellent product that gets my highest recommendation.

If you were looking to flatten it, maybe wedge it underneath some heavy books???

I'll try that first. I also sent and email to Jerry O'Connell to see if he has some advice. The dealer is one I've had great experience with, but I feel bad going back to him. I bought another Himber from him a couple months ago and it was a piece of junk. He was nice enough to take it back. If that ends up being the advice I get from Mr. O'Connell, then that's what I'll do.

Jerry is a friend and in my opinion makes the best magic wallets in the world, period. He is an upstanding guy and I'm sure will try and help. Same can be said for dealer Craig Dickson.

http://www.leatherjerry.com is where I started. No response yet, but it's only been a few hours and there's a time difference.

In snooping around leatherjerry.com found some envelope templates if you want to make your own. http://www.leatherjerry.com/effects/effects.htm

I'm sure both Jerry and Craig would be glad to help. I met Craig at Magic in the Rockies, and I purchased 100 dollars worth of leather products. However, he is a little intimidating, but in good fun. I should send an email soon.

Intimidating? You met me on a good day. LMAO

actionenvelope.com Check out the Coin Enveleopes. They carry more sizes than any company period. The also have little black ones that fit playing cards beautifully. So for an envelope source, your search has ended. Smile In the US that is. Europe and Asia still have problems, I understand they don't want to ship there.

Has anyone here ever successfully contacted Jerry O'Connell via email?

You can read my post above, but I bought a JOL Mini Himber and it really isn't usable. I realize that even with a company with as good a reputation as JOL that a bad one might sneak through every now and then. I'm looking for a solution. I can go back to the dealer if need be, but if there is a way I can solve it myself or directly with JOL, I'd prefer that.
