Alright, a question... I just ordered the Theatre Magic Fire Wallet... This is my first fire wallet so I bought a less expensive one just to "try it out."
Does anyone have any thoughts on the quality of this particular fire wallet? Is it practical, authentic looking, well made? Thank you for your help!

Hey Michael,
I have worked for Theatre Magic for 4 years now and can honestly say that I have owned this wallet and performed it COUNTLESS times at all my venues. IT KILLS! I use it every day as my "real" wallet and never leave home without it. The design is original and each one is custom made for TM. I do all the design and packaging for the company but I really do love the direction they are going with their product line. Ypu won't be disappointed. Be ready to have people offer you money to buy it on the spot! We shot some audience reactions downtown here in Orlando one night and a guy bought 3 right then and there. |

Does it matter what type of lighter fluid is used?
I was in Orlando last week and picked this up. On the way home from the airport, I went looking for Zippo or similar lighter fluid. Ended up with Ronsonol Lighter Fuel. I can't get any ignition and am wondering if this is the cause. There is noithing on the DVD that has me troubleshooting anything else. Thanks!

Actually I'm stumped. I lit the material with a match so the fluid is flammable. Perhaps I have a unit that doesn't shoot the sparks that it should???

After watching some Youtube videos of Fire Wallet pranks, I am wary of where I can use it without getting into trouble. I teach and perform magic in a school but a Fire Wallet is definitely not the right trick in a school. Maybe I can pay the gas station attendant from my fire wallet as he's pumping gasoline into my car.

I have a Theatre Magic Fire Wallet but I have never used it because in my opinion it is not very well made and the gimmick is not at all well consealed so it's easy for a spectator to spot unless you are very careful with your angles when you show the wallet.
I can only assume from the good reviews that I have seen that the design of the wallet has been changed since I purchased mine. |

Viking/Collector's workshop makes a nice fire wallet. George is known for releasing quality items.

I imagine this construction is similar to Kaps on Fire wallet which is made well. If anyone has a Kaps wallet and this one I'd like to get a comparison with the sound of the gimmick.

This is the best fire wallet being sold on the market. You have to keep a fire wallet at an angle you cannot open one flat or they WILL see the gimmick. These are made to hold and light at an angle.

Was in Orlando this past October and after watching the show, my wife bought me one. Tried it out after watching the video and it seems to work well. It would have to be angle dependent, but it seems all of them would.

This is the worst Firewallet I ever bought. I bought 2 of them and both landed directly in
the Trash.

I just bought this and it works fine , however I can't compare it with any others as its my first.
not sure why anyone would buy two fire wallets ? I've bought spare items before but only after testing and liking the item and getting another as a spare. |

I use this wallet as an 'every day' wallet with no problems. Due to it being in my jeans the leather corners have bent in which conceals the gimmick even more. Another good idea is to buy a little zippo keychain lighter fluid holder for top ups.
The greatest thing you'll ever learn, is just to love & be loved in return.

I carry mine as an "every day". After a while the plastic "leather" started peeling and the wallet looks ratty. I wish they would make a Premium version with real leather.
I also found replacing the flint with Zippo brand makes it more reliable. I haven't had to mess with the spring tension. I think I've "gotten" every waitress in our little town... Some of them twice. Great fun! |

I have one, I use it in just about every show I do. I've never had any problems with it. It always gets a great reaction from the crowd. For what it's worth, I highly recommend it to anyone that's thinking about buying a fire wallet.

I have been using this since it came out a few years back, it really is one of the best F/W's out today (I switched from the Kaps/Jadonnet to this one)
