There is no possible competition between the two events and the NY Coin guys have more than proven that they had a lot to offer: it's nice that we can have both events even if it's regrettable that the dates are so close to one another.
Both organization should speak to enable magicians to spread the expenses and duly honor (and enjoy) both events.

Both are too good to be missed only for pure programming reasons and lack of financial time spread.

If I had money I would go, but I'll just have to wait till next time.

For the record, the organizers of both events are friendly, and the dates are a month apart to avoid conflicts. Other than that, the 2 events are separate, and being that they are an ocean apart with mostly different people there are no conflicts. We will soon be advertising our own seminar, using the same venues we have done for years. That being said, Bertini should be complimented for putting together an outstanding lineup!

I 'll be there. A very good project!!

This symposium will be unforgettable!!

Mike is right, the organizers of both events are friendly, and both are a good opportunity for all coinmen. If coinmagic becomes more popular, this is a success for everyone. Usually there aren't many coimagic meetings, but if this happens it is stupid to think that it is not good.
So I hope we can always organize many seminars, also at the same time!

After meeting Miguel Angel Gea live, and after seeing his magic, I was amazed by his magic!....The european Coinmagic Symposium will be very strong!!

me and one maybe two of my friends will join this superb coin symposium...the flight from vienna to milano and back is only 50 euro so that's a steal...one question we will probably arrive on friday 26.11....so is there a place where all the coin guys meet at friday evening or better at which accommodation will you guys stay...

A few words from France, marseille. I meet Giacomo BERTINI a few years ago, in the south of france. We talked about our love for coin magic and he said, it will be great if we could organize a coin magic symposium in Europe. 5 years later, the idea is a reality.
I see that Eric JONES will be with us in Milano. It is great. There will be also Miguel Angel GEA, from spain.
I hope you will also be with us to share coin magic and friendship.
The aim is to have each year a Coin Magic Symposium in a different country in Europe.
