Also very telling as to the disgusting state of the culture in America.

One totally clueless comment in the article links Roy and Dale with:
"They were the Brad and Angelina of the time,"
Good Lord, not hardly! For one, Roy and Dale washed regualrly.

A nice touch is the note from Dusty after the article.

Then you get into the sick comments of the trash mouths as usual in comment sections. I'm sorry y'all missed those times in Roy's day (and mine) and very sorry Museums close because no one (well...hardly anyone) gives a ***.

This just made me sad. Hard to believe nobody cares, it seems like Branson would have been a good location too.

I've learned to avoid 'comments' on any story. People say things online they'd never to a person's face.

I'm not one of the 'world's going to hell in a handbasket' crowd, but I sure think there are a lot of people who know very little of what happened more than five years ago, maybe five minutes ago. It's an irony of our times. A world of information at our fingertips and people are choosing to limit their knowledge to current pop culture.
