Instant magician is a creation of Jan Torell (not sure of spelling). Kevin James sometimes gets credit for it, but I think he just markets it. See "kjmagic.com" You can buy this for a couple hundred bucks. Other dealers may carry it.
You DO NOT get the spinning plate with the routine. You have to come up with your own routines and moves depending on what type magic / entertainment you do. So, is it easy to learn? If you're already performing the effects, it's very easy. If not, it's going to take some practice. Jim |

Google is a wonderful thing.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jump_In_The......_Senora) http://www.magic.org/store/product_info.php?products_id=2103 I would gather that it is easier with these specially constructed plates then with a real plate, but I'm sure like any performance it takes practice.
It is always darkest just before you are eaten by a grue.

You can buy that spinning plate from http://www.dube.com (there are a lot of other places, but I think that one dealer should do). The stick that they used in that video is a 36 inch dow, which you should be able to get at your local hardware store for pennies. If you put the dow in a pencil sharpener it will give you the desired point. I taught myself to spin plates with either hand one Saturday morning. If you have any trouble learning you can PM me.
Ken Scott also sells "Instant Magician", but only a few each year, and you don't want to know the price.
