This is not the standard Invisible Deck plot. It uses the deck as a tool within the context of a routine rather than as an effect in and of itself.

If I remember correctly, this routine goes back to Eddie Fields. Whether or not I'm historically correct on that point, my friend Mike Massey - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Massey - has been performing this exact trick for at least a decade or two.
Massey is a professional billiard performer, earning the bulk of his income from paid appearances during which he demonstrates various billiard "trick shots". This presentation for the Invisible Deck has been a feature of his show for a long, long time. TW

Thanks for the reference. I knew it couldn't possibly be original, but I couldn't ever find it anywhere.

I have seen this before as well, however I like this for a bar room, Billiard room situation.

Excellent. Really enjoyed it. Goes to show how this tool (often referred to as "tired" and "old" by many young ones) is very strong and continues to astonish. Thanks Dai.
For those who like this sort of stuff, I had previously published a routine using a 'psychological' angle that has similar parts, but it has been discontinued in lieu of a 'coming soon' project with the gracious help of a couple of BIG GUNS (at least one, for sure).

I like this youtube link. It was nice seeing something that is so ordinary in this kind of light. As with anything else, much hinges on presentation more than anything else.
