Just received the splash bottle gimmick and the instructions were very poor, my question is can someone PM me some more clear instructions? Like are you suppost to use your wrist when you produce it or just lift up? thanks

Use your wrist. David Stone explains his routine in his "live in Boston" CD/Lecture notes and, I think, his "live in FFFF" DVD.

Johnny Ace Palmer has a very nice non-gimmicked production of a bottle.

Can I use this gimmick with Ammar's production method ?
Or use this with John Lovick's production method like the routine in the opening of his "reparation video" ?
Thank you

I ve seen David Stone's, Troy Hooser's and Ammar's, I will say Ammar's is the best!
Go for it!

Where can Ammar's be found? On what video?

I believe Ammar's bottle production is included in his Topit videos.

Gotcha. Thanks. WIth Splash, if I'm out on stage speaking for 5 minutes before the effect (with a coat on, of course) will it look bulgy or feel uncomfortable until the reveal?

Thanks,

My wife says doesn't matter...

Yes, I think I'll use small bottles. Great. Well, I will order it and hope it works for me.

I never thought to clarify, but do you produce empty or full bottles. My plan is to produce full, sealed bottles. They can be the smallest size soda or wine cooler bottles. Will that work with Splash Bottle? Will the weight with full bottles be too much?

I already ordered it, so I hope it works out...

Could the splash gimmick be used for all the methods mentioned? If not, which ones will work and which ones won't?

You can also find Ammar's production in his lecture DVD
It's called "Live in Magic Castle"
It's a good video.

Okay, I need help. A full wine bottle in the gimmick almost pulls my pants down, and worse, the top tips out the side, poking out my coat, or out the back, or out the front. Very unstable. It almost fell completely out of the gimmick and fell on the floor. I caught it right in time.

Please advise, either here or in a PM.

Thanks so much

Can this work with a regular rain jacket or a jacket that isn't a suit.

Joshua,

Looks like you're going to have to tighten your belt pal! I do this with a full bottle of Champagne as a gift to the bride and groom at weddings. The only other tip is to make sure the bottle is pushed firmly into the gimmick. It's elasticated so will take it.

Kauai (can I call you kauai?) Any jacket should do (except the matador short type!)

Regards,

Martino.

Guys

Take a look at the David Stone presentation. I saw him last month during his UK lecture tour and it was superb. Great in built misdirection if you employ the silk as part of a coin trick. It's a stunning surprise. Here is a link to a demo :

I'm giving up and designing a shoulder strap to carry the bottle.
