Hi,
I am writing my third Lecture Notes on Dove Magic right now and I do want to cover the whole subject. What special topic do you want to be written about? (Technical,Psychological, Organization, Harnesses, etc.) Just checking if I have included all. Thanks for your help ! Henk (NL) |

Typically, when there is a series of lecture notes on the same subject, each one covers a different aspect of the subject. Since we don't know what is included in notes 1 & 2, it is difficult to tell what should be in 3.
I have personally written a set of lecture notes than were approximately 24 pages in length which covered everything from getting started, what is required (harnesses, pockets, loops etc) training, care and feeding and references. Just about everything is covered in the one set of notes with the exception of actual effects that can be performed. These notes were the basis for my lecture. I've only mentioned that as a suggestion that perhaps before writing another set of notes, you might want to review what you already have to see if anything is missing. Those missing topics would be what you should include if there is enough to justify another set.

Additionally, the topic "Dove Magic" is so general, that the now defunct company Supreme Magic could not cover everything in a set of 5 volumes of books in several hundred pages.
Your notes could easily turn into books. |

That's true however those books covered a multitude of tricks and effects. I think in a normal dove lecture, there would be more emphasis on technique, breeding, care and treatment, etc. At least my notes do but they are also the basis for the book that I am writing.
