There are seven people each having a meal at a restaurant. On the menu are four different items. Let us say that the items are beef, fish, lamb and chicken.The people each order a mean from the limited menu on offer.The waiter writes the order down but on the way to the kitchen loses the order slip.Now the waiter cannot remember what the order is. The snooty waiter does not have the courage to ask the diners again for their order as he would lose face.The chef therefore decides to simply make seven random meals from the set menu and sends them out to the diners hoping for the best.
The question is what is the chance that the chef gets it right? |

You guessed it Scott. Mr Grimes'channel is recommended to you all.I like it since most of the puzzles he poses are doable even for a relative dunce like me. I didn't want to provide the actual link as I thought that people might be able to work out the solution from the comments below the video if they were reasonably intelligent.
