This is a collection of forces, passes, controls, false shuffles, palms, and card folds that Cody uses in his professional work. Real world stuff!

More info can be found on Hocus-Pocus and Cody's personal site.

Lecture DVD Contents:

IN JOG-RIFFLE FORCE - Learn how to force a card in the fairest manner possible.

This is a very convincing force. The title says what it is. The force card is in jogged and you riffle force it. If you use the riffle force, you'll like this.

The spread pass is one of the best controls of a card. Adding this flourish is a great convincer.

FANCY FAN CONTROL: A funny technique for bringing a card to the top of the deck.

I've used this for years in combination with the LePaul control. This is my favorite control to use.

SLEEVES UP MERCURY: Now ANYONE can fold a card secretly, silently, and slowly.

For those that have backed off from using the Mercury Card fold, this technique makes it accessible to everyone.

FULL FRONTAL CONTROL: An interesting one hand control of a card (or group of cards).

Fooled me on the DVD. Reminds me of an old ball manipulation move. It's fast and convincing with cards as well.

THE STUPID SHUFFLE: A super easy 'in the hands' false riffle shuffle with bridge.

Karl Hein ( Cody credits him ) has a killer version of this. I've never been able to make these look good. It might appeal to others.

THE SIDE STEAL BOTTON PALM: A fantastic palm for any card under glass routine.

I've used this for many. many years. I had no idea where I learned it from, so it must have been from Cody. It flows beautifully for card under drink/card box, etc.

MY FAVORITE CONTRFOL: Cody's absolute favorite card control for the real world.

This relies on a special "something' that is easy to use, but I still prefer the LePaul control.

THE 90 DEGREE DOUBLE: A very deceptive double lift.

The Dai Vernon double lift often looks bad in most hands ( Ammar did on his Easy To Master series and you could see the two cards ). This would be a better way to do it for those that can't do Vernon's. I'm so happy with mine after all these years, that I'll stick with what works for me.

The Incredible Vanishing Deck - An ingenious idea that real world workers will absolutely love.

This is actually a way for table hoppers and strollers o start with a fresh pack of cards and end with the same pack, not matter how many cards they had signed and given away. It's a fantastic idea and solves a big problem.

Sleightly Original is a great DVD. Cody explains everything in great detail and seeing the techniques performed was a big plus for me after reading about and using many of them over the years. I'm a big fan of Cody's material and this is a great addition to my collection of his work.
