A rough draft of the cover can be seen at:

It will have a slipcase.

Thank you, Mick, it's going to be tricky using only a black stamp and a silver foil stamp against the blue background to create the illusion of shiny metal, but, that's what we're trying to do.
I am very grateful to you for providing the Key for Houdini--the Key.
Now I've got to do your beautiful key justice!

In my day, we did escapes. This one for example: escape was simple, I feigned unconsciousness until the Deadly Amphibian (Don Matheson) let me go. Then, I dropped to the floor and continued to play dead until the director called "cut" and I crawled away.

Did these sell out? Or are there still some available?

Roslyn, quick, go to the link at the very top of this post and order it.
When his books do sell-out people ask crazy amounts of money if they sell them.
I believe that's the reason you can only by one copy.
It is a limited run, with no reprints.

No. I will not run out. I have most of the 51 books I had printed just for libraries (the only difference being that instead of "this is a limited edition of 278 books of which this is:" the library books say "this book is intended for libraries and institutions of learning and must remain in the custody of the curator at all times).
I only have four books from the 278 at the moment. They needed a bit of fixing which the binders have done. They still have four more books to tweak.
But I have published a second printing of 113 books (and if anyone doesn't get why I made it 278 and 113, well, I had to). The book is the same in every respect except it says this is a second printing of 113 books of which this is--
Same book page for page. Still $195.00 whether you buy the first printing, the second printing, or the library version.
They are all the same book. Not different editions, but, additional printings.
I did not create this book to be a collectable. I created it to be a textbook for guys like Ros. I've met collectors who bought Houdini Unlocked and shelved it. And Houdini Unlocked is still being hoarded to this day!
So, anyone can try to sell Houdini--the Key for whatever they want to try to get. But, you can buy brand new, beautiful copies of Houdini--the Key for $195.00. And it's still one to a customer. You can only read one at a time anyway.
