Hi gamblin' men and women! Quick tale to tell. I have heard of the Diagonal Shift Palm from Erdnase for years but also how difficult it was etc so I never bothered to read the description. The other day I pull out a copy of Genii from 2008, the one with Veron on the cover, and read the description. It turned out I've been doing it for years! When I talk to my wife (a mostly bed ridden invalid) I have a deck of cards that I mess with and it turned out a thing that I do to get a card into left hand palm is exactly the same as the Diagonal Shift. I've never even considered it as a move in magic but I was sure impressed. I'm adding that to my list of things I've recreated after others have done it for years!

Heh that is a neaty discovery, I would be jazzed myself if it happened to me I suppose if we had to start over with a deck of cards the same moves would eventually evolve.
Thanks for sharing. S |
