Hi,
I was wondering where I could buy a chrome or silver ring (nice and heavy like a harness ring and seamless) about 5 inches in diameter for ring on rope . I can see wizradcraft have a good one for 3.75 inches which I have just ordered but I feel that one around 5 inches would be better for me. I'm looking for top quality. Regards Shane |

Many old magic sets have a set of 5" linking rings. I prefer a thicker ring, though, an often use a wood ring about 5" found in a thrift store.

Search for a "bridle ring" (I believe it's called) at a store that sells horse and livestock supplies.

On a trip to NY I stumbled across a great 4" ring in the Museum of Modern Art gift shop.
While only 4" in diameter, it is heavy, seamless, ultra-smooth, and beautifully chrome plated. Designed for use as a minimalist tissue dispenser by Scott Christensen and sold as the "Toro Tissue Ring" it’s perfect for most ring and rope routines. It appears that MoMA no longer carries it although you can get it directly from the manufacturer (Vessel) here: http://www.vessel.com/prod_cur_toro.html A bit pricey and unless you are going to throw it off a building, it should be nearly indestructable. The word Vessel is etched into the surface in pale grey lettering and is nearly unnoticeable and doesn't affect the ring in any negative way.
