It’s very difficult imo to try and make a new gimmicked sharpie yourself. Because the nib is closed, you have to open/slice it to be able to insert the tiny mag. This sounds easy (which I thought it would be to do at 1st) then having to close the opening being precise and delicate enough so that when the pen writes, you don’t get double writing. So yes it is possible but I would honestly buy a new one so you know the precision, care and accuracy is there.

Just buy the parapen making kit from paralabs, comes with everything you need to do it easily.

As I wrote repeatedly: You can buy the foil directly from ParaLabs, or here: https://www.stolina.de/parafoil-paralabs.html AND:
If you buy the entire kit, you receive also a pen of which I am perosnally not so keen of… but you receive at least the tiny magnet in it. You can get it out with a needle and a pair of pliers easily and put it the same way in a different pen. I recommend since years the SCHNEIDER permanent markers!
