Robin, Dannt Doyle said it best "I would recomend the Jim Snack course for a pretty comprehensive overview. Jim is a member here.
http://www.success-in-magic.com/coursedetails.htm I bought this course a while back and the return on investment has been FANTASTIC!!! It paid for itself within the first 6 months. Read Jim's advice, follow it and you will succeed. peter |

ManagerSal is a CRM for entertainers...
you build the form and post it to your website... when a lead fills it out it goes into the managersal database as a lead you then can call them or email and book.. you then can email the contract and have it digitally signed and use your online processor to collect payment and so on it's just a much more affordable CRM than some of the bigger systems
its ok.. balloon dogs don't bite

Just some points...
Find a TV Crew shooting, perform your best Effect for the "host" or "anchor". Hang around or near TV Stations to up your chances bumping into them... Really, it worked for me. Get into ACTING, theater especially. This alone will help you in more ways than you can imagine. Do Charity work so you see Magic for more than just tricks, just trust me on this one... Nothing to do with business but you'll thank me for this if you follow it... Hope you enjoy the ride!

Hi Pedranti. Congrats on your motivation to reach out for more magical help and guidance. Keeping hanging out here. The Magi here are a huge help to me.
Jack Turk, also a member here, has a great marketing program for Magicians that I've purchased. No matter who's program you buy, you're gonna have to work it. A book or dvd is of no value until you implment the wisdom it conveys. A) I've you've not already done it, get some business cards: first essential step. Vistaprint.com will send you 500 for free. You can design it yourself on their site. B) Don't be shy. Open your mouth and make everyone you know aware that you are a Magician. When you had them a business card, show them a quick 1 or 2 affects with coins, or whatever is handy. That will engrain you in their memory more than just handing them a card. Say, "here's my card and please let me know of anyone that might be interested in enhancing a special event with Magic." Doing this over and over will also give your more practice in displaying the slight and in talking with your audience. Get over the nervousness by massive amounts of practice. C) Follow the advice on the many many skilled and experienced Maji on this site. D) Enjoy your sports. You can participate in Magic until you are old. Not so with sports. Do it while you can. Live a balanced life. |
