Hi Guys,
For those that use Jumbo cards, do you mind what the back design looks like? Does it matter? Would you ever use a packet trick using jumbo cards if the back design were not Bicycle? Thanks in advance for your replies, Jon

I have always preferred Blue-Backed Bicycle cards. In face, there have been times when I would not purchase something because it wasn't Blue-Backed Bicycle.

In the case of jumbo cards, particularly with regard to a packet trick, back design doesn't matter to me.

The last thing a spectator is interested in is the back design. If he will remember the color, you are already lucky.

I have to admit, I prefer red bikes as my back of choice in poker size.
It's a liitle less important in jumbo size, unless the effect uses both sizes.

I've found that the basck designs of jumbo cards makes no difference to the audience.
I'm more interested in how smoothly the cards fan and the thickness of the cardstock. As long as they work smoothly anfd handle well, they're quite acceptable to me and my audiences. TED |

The only jumbo card effect where I found blue bike backs to be a preference (for reasons which I can't go into) is in my "Jumbo Stage Dutch Looper" from The Wizards' Journal #17. While it is not ABSOLUTELY necessary, there is a distinct advantage to that particular design and color with this particular effect.

Back designs don't matter at all to me in Jumbo size. All I care about is the quality and finish...meaning that they slide easily when counting or working with them. That said...the back design has to look somewhat professional. I don't want clowns or something that looks like children would use. Quality is most important. Nothing I hate more than cheap cards that stick together or move in clumps.
