I am very interested in purchasing "Technique And Understanding" by Jim Steinmeyer. It has been available for a while now. I was wondering what those of you who have bought this book think about it. It is 300 hundred pages long and $135.00.

Is the book worth the money? What is your favorite illusion or part?

Hi echomagic,

It is worth the money. Don't wait 'til it's out of print.

I bought this as soon as it became available. It is definitely worth the money, even if you just enjoy reading illusion theory.

Thus far, my favorites "pieces" are Brian Sibley's Foreword that tells about the development of the "magic" for Mary Poppins, Triumph Sudoku, and Cube-Ism.
Things are more like they are today than they've ever been before...
