I will be there lending Paul Stone a hand and performing in the late night sessions... I will be bringing my daughter Nique to her first magic convention...
then in a week it's back to Vegas for the MINDvention... what a life! see you in Vegas! |

I had a great time and met some nice people from many countries and at least a few people said they would say hi at Blackpool.

The Innovention was another feather in the cap of Paul Stone. The convention featured great lectures, close-up and shows. The event site was off the strip but a neat little casino that was the perfect size for the convention.
The schedule was perfectly set with enough downtime for schmoozing and socializing and have the lectures in the Showroom was a great touch. Of course seeing and meeting so many great magicians like the opening Panel on Comedy with Johnny Thompson, Mac King, Amazing Jonathan and Tom Mullica was awesome... add in special appearances by Criss Angel and Siegfried and Roy and what more could you ask for! Special kudos go to Teller, who flew back and forth from NYC to deliver a one of a kind lecture called the Red Ball. I was fortunate to be Teller's guest at the P&T show a few days before the convention and the lecture was educational, inspirationl and for me motovational... when you see the dedication, time and effort Teller puts into what are 3 minutes in the show, you will think long and hard about your own magic... I am not sure if the Innovention will occur again, but if it does, make sure you are front and center for the unique convention... |

He does what he does. Takes ordinary tricks (Needle Through Balloon, Professors Nightmare) and makes them entertaining. He was hilarious!
