I have an older generation ipod nano that I use to play pre-show music and recently it has started acting up and I can't seem to find anyone who can tell me why?
It will play different songs that the ones I select. It will then start running through and displaying songs in the playlist one after the other! Not playing them, just flashing the title on the screen like it is going to play it but then it doesn't actually play the song. After one second it jumps to the next song, displays it and then the next song, and so on.....over and over and over! I can hard start it and that clears it for a while but then after a while it will do it again! Anyone ever have this happen to them??? Any ideas??? =Frank=
The Early Bird may get the Worm, but it's the SECOND Mouse that gets the CHEESE!!!

Sounds like a hardware problem. If you can get your files off and save them, I would, then see the Ipod site for re-installing the system. I read once someplace that this sometimes has to be done.
Then after re-installing try again, if the same thing happen, then it is hardware and it time for another Ipod. |

Herm... You could try plugging it into the computer and connecting it to iTunes, then clicking that button that returns it to factory default settings. Worth a try I guess.
