Hey Everyone!
I'm not really a coin worker, but I've been working on a new routine, a 3 coin routine I like to call 3-Gone Jinn (No, I'm not a Star Wars nerd, I just like the name). If you could give me some pointers, advice, suggestions, or feedback in general, it would be immensely appreciated! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L7c3Qfv6-nE Thank you! Michael Kras

You've got some good thinking here using the "one ahead." My only suggestions would be to look at Eric Jones' "Three Klan Vanish" from his "Mirage et Trois" DVD. Basically you would be able to show your hands more freely once all the coins are "gone." And maybe throw in a Himber count before the second half of the routine. Also you might look at something Doug Brewer calls "The Phantom Click Pass" in his book "The Unexpected Visitor"

You may want to vary the false transfers a bit. To be honest, the one you are using now doesn't look that great, and since there's about 6 occurences of it... meh.
Also, reaching into your top pocket with a coin in FP should be a lot easier then in CP. |

Good routine! You just need to work on your palming. You have a 'tell' when you palm each coin. Watch the video and you will see what I am talking about. Other than that I thought it was good. Keep up the good work!

Thank you all for your excellent suggestions! Mr. Sanborm, I am indeed fairly new to coin magic and I'll definitely be working in my palming... My lack of confidence with the palmmg probably causes a great deal of the "tell".
Doctor D, yes it is easy to remove the coin... I fiddled as a bit of a convincer, and also the routine relies on it based on the method (I'm also positioning the second coin so the two don't clink. And prototype, I'll definitely check out your references! They sound helpful. Thanks again all!

Partially the fault of performing in a very hot bathroom... my hands were getting sweaty and I was fighting to hold the coins in place.

Why do you perform in your bathroom? Seems kind of strange.
Magic is a vanishing art.

Actually I liked the performance. Maybe not perfect enough for hardcore coin workers, but surely convincing for laymen.
