This is a very good trick! Two people select and sign cards, one on the front & one on the back. You show the two cards, a little flash paper & both signatures are on one card.
I did it tonight at work & when I finished, I used the "magic" card with the signatures to do card warp. It was a spur of the moment thing & I am quite pleased with how it turned out. What I’m getting at here is to use a card that has been signed (ambitious, t&r, etc.) And then do card warp with it. I’m sure this has been done, but it just kind of happened tonight & I liked it, it got a great reaction. |

I really like that idea. Michael Ammar's tape on doing memorable magic points to tricks like card on the ceiling as especially memorable because the moment of the magic is essentially frozen in time. When they signed the card it was obviously unprepared. Now it has warped into this one-of-a-kind impossibility. The magic is memorialized there on the table, frozen in its moment of magic!

Several years ago, I was table-hopping at an Italian restaurant and one of the features of my act was the ambitious card, with a signed card. At the end of the trick, the card was then taken and pinned to a wall.
Customers would return with friends to show them their name on the card on the wall -- and have me do the trick for their friends, too. When I finally left, there were almost 400 signed cards on the wall. Great promotion gimmick for both the restaurant and the magician; as mentioned above, it "freezes the moment in time," (albeit a bit differently). cheers, Peter Marucci showtimecol@aol.com |

Great idea for giving new life to a trick I already list as one of my favorites.
