Rice silks are the best. I believe http://www.stevensmagic.com has them.

Bob Sanders offers some that are high quality -- some say as good as Rice. I have both and can't tell the difference.
Depending on what you need Rice sometimes has "seconds" -- usually an undetectable printing area -- never the silk itself. Write to Ruth and ask her.

I buy silk handkerchiefs in a mens' clothing stores for close up. They usually have a variety of colors and they last for years.
It depends upon what you need them for. The silk handkerchiefs at the mens' stores are heavy & not good for most silk magic, but very good for coin magic and such. |

For quality silks, Rice silks are also available at Silk King Studios. Their site is here:
http://www.silkkingmagic.com/Rice%27s%20......ilks.htm That shows you their solid color line. They also have others in printed designs. My Rice silks (that I still have) are more than 20 years old, and still look new. Doug |

Agree with Dougini.
For any need of silks go to "Silk King Studios". Also you will find some nice routines. |

Richard Hughes has also been highly praised: http://www.hughesmagic.com/catalog/silks/tiedyes.html I've only ever dealt with Rice, though. Ruth is a jewel. I have the highest praise for her. She is actually the daughter of Harold Rice! I've dealt with Rice since the late 70's. Doug |

Bob Sanders sells some great silks at an affordable price, and for a few dollars more I recommend P&A silks.

I also buy most all of my silks from Mr. Bob Sanders. When I need heavier silks, or certain tie-dye patterns that I cannot get from Bob I have found them at Abbott's and Dazzling Magic.

I once did 26 different tie dye patterns for a guy to produce out a drum. One set from each side. It was a challenge to come up with all those different looking silks.
