Fantasm is selling an interesting matrix type effect with 3 quarters and 3 pennies. With just a wave of his hand over the quarters they change to the pennies..
Apparently, no extra coins. "Trans Zero by Reed McClintock A phenomenal matrix effect done on a glass table! The magician shows three pennies in a row and three quarters in a different row on the table top. There is also one playing card just sitting on the table. He waves his hand over the coins and they visually change places! In the second phase of the trick three of the coins wind up under the card that was never moved from its place! The final phase is so remarkable; you’ll just have to see it for your self! " http://www.fantasmamagic.com/shopping/downloads.html This looks good, but - is the setup going to prevent this from being done on the spot? - how "expert" are the moves? - is the glass table necessary? (my guess is that that may be critical to the method) In any event, it is an interesting departure from the typical matrix effects.

Looks a bit knacky and it does say expert level in the ad.I believe it will be best to do on the glass top.

I have seen Reed do it! It Looks Great! But I think it's best done on a glass table!

This routine is one of the easiest that Reed has published, needs no special coins, and can be done on any smooth tabletop. In other words, a wrinkled tablecloth will cause you intense suffering. However, in most performing situations, this routine (it was called "Trans Euro" last time I saw it) looks every bit a good as Dave just said it does.

John, Reed published this himself, I believe, and sold the books that explained it in his lectures in Europe. I don't know who carries it here now.
