I am wondering if anyone else on the Café is receiving spam email from the following account ?
yogis13@hotmail.com I did a search and found that it is from a member here on the Café. I am receiving approx 15 to 20 per day and it is getting a little ridiculous ! I have asked SEVERAL times for it to stop yet they keep coming. Any help wpould be greatly appreciated. I have added the email address to my spam filter yet it keeps making its way to my in box Thanks Steven

Someone has a hotmail account here? How odd. Steve, just have the mods get rid of the offender.

I keep getting emails from a dealer, through the mailto form on my website...which is really obnoxious and not the best way to get my business. Looks like it's time for a CAPTCHA.

But here you go: http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/bb_pr......er=14505 Anyway, I wonder if that is the person really sending the email. If someone knows enough to collect a bunch of magic Café readers' email addresses for spam mail purposes, they probably also know how to spoof the sender ID so that it appears to be coming from one of these people but really isn't. Just saying. Doesn't mean what I said is the case, though.

I had my email lifted and sent to those on my list of contacts.

You can also hide your email address so it isn't displayed in your profile. That can reduce harvesting / spam.
