No it's different, quite different, Psychic Cents looks pretty cool though! With IPC you pull all the change out of your pocket and dump it in their hand. No envelopes etc. and they just say an amount! No IOU card.
I'll repost the video link just in case... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klLrOjUCAts |

Working with all those guys over the weekend, tearing apart this effect, tweaking and improving it, I came up with a very nice and EASY way of adding in that extra penny if you need it... NO PALMING in fact it made the effect itself STRONGER. It's like they turn you upside down and and shake you to make sure ALL your pocket change falls out. It's COOL! ALSO: We were playing with patter/presentation, I tested the NEW presentation for two nights straight, probably about 15 times, and everytime I was able to ask for between a penny and a dollar, not 50 cents to a dollar and always get the higher numbers, 100 percent! Tim Trono, was saying it would be nice to just ask for an amount of change between 1 and 100, I worked it out and now it's official! this was making jaws drop! Its just in the wording of course but there's no obvious control at all! |

I thought I'd answer this question in public, it was a question asked by elcio in a PM:

Hi Cosmo, Correct! I won't ship the older method at all, only the final design. In fact I have about 18 made of the older method... ALL to be tossed in the trash! (or the cosmo museum of magic history!) Regarding Jeans: Yes it's fine in any pants pocket. I use it with Q (of course) and I must point out that when I do I use half a set of Q (right pocket) and IPC in the left. I have a routine where both are used at the same time... Thanks again my friend! |

Thanks for getting back to me Cosmo, I have been using Doc Dixons effect for a long time to great reactions, and this looks like it is an improvement.
Im looking forward to it. JH

Just saying that in order to combine the two effects into one routine I only use q in one pocket instead of two that way the other pocket is free for IPC. |

This is REALLY good. I was immediately excited about the effect- it is very primal, very magical, super clean, etc. I recently saw Cosmo do this at the Magic in the Rockies convention and spent a lot of time with him discussing ideas, thoughts, etc. Cosmo did it for one person (layman) in particular who sees LOTS and LOTS of magic and she was absolutely blown away by it. She advised it was one of the best magic things she has ever seen and she's seen a LOT. Since Cosmo announced it he's come up with some spectacular additions, changes, etc. so I'd guess there will be little delay before it comes out but you will be happy at the great changes he has made on this. It was really good as is but now it's WAY better. This is an item I'll USE. HIGHLY recommended.

This before I really got too far into the older design. I have to make a new mold or two, so we're only talking a day or so... either way I will keep posting the progress. As far as manufacturing; I will make them by hand while waiting for the manufacturing to get going, once available, there may be limited numbers in stock, as we go, but inventory will show that on the site. the manufacturer will be making the exact duplicate of what I make by hand, so there'll be no difference. (I forgot to mention that Tim was the first to order this, literally minutes after I put it on the site, an order popped up, it was from Tim! Then within 15 minutes a few more! All this at 1 AM! Don't you guys ever sleep?) |

Not yet. After coming up with the newest improvements, his current supply will be scraped. He's heading out of town for about 10 days but will be hitting this head on once he returns home. Shipping soon!!

Cosmo is not only a fantastic sleight of hand artist, but an incredible creator of magic. It's wonderful to see him relasing his material to the fraternity.
And, he's a genuinely good hearted fellow. Very accesable to folks that have his products. Just a first rate guy!

Hi gang!
First thanks for your kind words... I am holed up in a hotel room at the carolina close up convention, creating the IPC units and fine tuning etc. I've had an offer by a very BIG magic producer so I'm trying to come to a decision on that before Monday. |
