Anybody out there have any suggestions for a not too difficult but still impressive "chicken hat?" I remember seeing one at t&s in Nashville, but don't really remember that much about it.

Here is the bare bones of what I'm doing with it if anyone can help. I'm making the hat, and putting it on a guy. Then playing the chicken dance music and making him dance. At the end I'm holding up a sign that says "Poultry in motion."

so there you go. Oh and, yes, I know about Balloon HQ, but I'm hoping that one of you guys can just point something out that I like so I don't have to fight through that site! :0)

Basic chicken hat. all measurements are approximate

260 white balloon
small bubble (on top)
3, 3"bubbles in a roll-through (head)
2 medium pinch twists (end up being side by side under the head)
rest of balloon is neck, attached to a standard hat

160 yellow balloon
1" bubble followed by a 2" bubble, twist together to form the beak placed between the pinch twists under the head

draw the eyes and add wings or other accessories that you like

Pslaughter,

Bunnell has a rooster hat on Twisted Critters, Volume 2. It will cost you about $40 plus postage, so it is not something you'd probably want to buy just for one specific hat design. Just wanted you to know.

Best,

This is probably not exactly what you want but you can take the head section and put it on a hat...

Look at the forth picture in the top row.
