I like when he uses a katana because he's japanese.
It's like a American guy use a cheesburger to sell his stuff or a baguette for a French guy... I like cliché ! Anyway it looks great.

Looks really nice. However, this certainly wouldn't be for a walk around performance as you’re not about to carry your own glass. Might be nice for performing for a group of people where you have your own table set up, or something really nice to have at home when you do a wee bit of magic for friends and family. Then again, it says nothing about the glass being able to be examined which I would certainly think a spectator would wish to do. I know I would! Switching out a coin is one thing, but switching out a glass! Even if you could do so easily it makes no mention of including a duplicate un-gimmicked glass. Looks very visual, but not too practical for most situations. I’ll wait for further reviews once it’s released out of curiosity. Seeing that World Magic is selling it (aside from other places) maybe Craig and David might possibly do a review on it.

This looks a lot better than a rattle box for vanishing a ring or coin.

I am also interested if it's possible to drink from it.
I guess not but I hope I am wrong about that. The coin penetration looks amazing! It could be also useful for switching out a billet covered with the glass... Let's see.. |

I agree that this would be perfect if the item could be examined and if you can drink from it. That way you could walk around with it full drink at a table well doing other things then finish your drink and do the routine. now add the ability for someone to look at it after the fact and you have a soild usuable prop.

Very nice looking. I have a theory or two but it doesn't cover all the illusions shown (in particular the visible half penetration.)
Thank you to whoever produced the video for showing us FULL demos. With the fadeouts in the beginning I was afraid this was going to be another one of those over-produced videos which make it impossible to see how the illusion plays. Glad I was wrong.

Just got a message from Elmwood magic stating that the initial run is already sold out. They have enough to fill pre-orders with some in stock. I too am considering it, but would love to see a true review first. The video looks like some amazing effects can be done.

Hi guys . I picker up a Maric glass today . Let me start off by saying it's brilliant . You get a flightcase and the Maric glass with something extra . And a DVD full of routines . There's tons on there . In my own opionion most worked and looked great but a few didn't . The glass it's self iv very well
Made . I have read some posts about people thinking the glass is plastic . Well I can safetly say it's not . It's glass . He teaches you basics with it and then some more advanced stuff . I would give the routines a 8 out of ten . And then gimmick a 9 out of ten with all the props . The prop itself is worth owning because if how great it is . I also brought mine from World magic store and they are offering you two free magic DVDs Which are also great . But they only have a few left . Hope this helps . Any more information feel free to ask . |
