My favorite phone message would be:
"Hello Beano. We saw your web site and talked with some others who have hired you and want you for our event. Just tell us what day you can make it and how much to pay you. We'll send you a certified check 30 days in advance." IF it was legit of course. I know that's not what you meant, but I've had a lot of sugar this morning and couldn't resist. I'll behave now. My REAL suggestion: Smile, speak clearly, try to include a phrase that will stay with them, and don't make the message too long. Beano |
