I recently purchased a pair of Haggar slacks made of their "Smart Fiber" material. It was supposed to be "no iron". I never had slacks wrinkle so badly in my entire life! With each dryer cycle, they wrinkled even more. They were a bear to iron, because of the horrible construction. Luckily, JCPenney has a good return policy, so I exchanged them for a pair that should be much better.

I'm accustomed to slacks that come out of the dryer free of wrinkles, so the Haggars were a major disappointment. Maybe, the bean counters are killing the company by cutting corners.

I wear good dress pants that don't wrinkle, I send all of my shirts and pants to the cleaner. Years ago I used to iron a shirt before every show. I did that until my new wife started laughing at me for buying cheap shirts. She then told me that for the prices that I charge it is my responsibility to look like I'm worth hundreds of dollars, and she was right, so every Monday morning I visit the dry cleaner with a bag full of sweaty clothes.

Your new wife is smart Smile

But yea, don't buy slacks that have a bunch of features on them to make your life more convenient. Looks much better when they're custom made and tailored to your body Smile
