Hi Cyberqat, Good Name!!!
Blue cats are one of three breeds but the most common being Russian Blue. You can easily tell which category yours fits under, the shape of the face and eye color. Here's a site which you'll find useful. http://www.russianblue.info/bluecats/bluecats.htm Cheers! Chrystal aka the knowitall :O) |

MagicSanta,
I also have four black cats (2 fosters and 2 of my own). I'm thinking: pretty soon the neighbors are going to talk about me in whispers and burn me at the stake or something. You're right about photographing black cats - it's really difficult. I often have to take about 30 photos in order to get one good one. The SPCA often ask me to post photos of the cats under foster care for their site. Best way is natural light I think. |

Funsway - I love your cat!! Great Halloween photo of Odo but I bet you she's very sweet. 17! Wow! You obviously take good care of her.

I have a big property and a building for wild cats to live in at night when the coyotes are out.
I have a gray cat like the one in the photo named PJ, is the term 'blue'? Their mother is black and the father Siemese. |

Funway - I've seen a few piano playing cats but never one that played the harp - that's impressive!
Cfrye - Thanks for mentioning the name Pixel. Myself, other animal foster parents and SPCA staff often have to give numerous animals names so I'm going to keep this one in mind. Santa - The term "Blue" is used often for cats and dogs that have grey coloring. Blue Heelers are one example or Blue Merle for Australian Shephards. Now here it gets confusing as the Blue Man Group are Blue and not Grey..go figure! :O) |

Thanks!
Clara is clearly a British Short Hair. Actually, she could be a Charteaux...
It is always darkest just before you are eaten by a grue.
