I have tried to email and send letters to Ron without success. Does anyone know where he can be found? Is he still lecturing?

I know he had some health problems. Last I heard (this summer) he was still in Lafayette, IN.

I remember he was sick around 2008. I have his address from that year, but it was returned. I wait a few days for TMC responses, then try and contact his local club.

Ron is in convalescent home. Spoke to Marcus Lehman a few months ago. Ron is on kidney dialysis several times a day now.

That's rather unusual. Most dialysis patients are on a three times a week schedule. They usually go in for about 4 hours.

Gosh, he's a great guy. Whenever I needed something, he was always there. Maybe I can try and visit him if I'm in the area.

I am sorry to hear Ron London is ill.
I kept seeing his name and I knew it sounded familiar. I grew up right outside of Lafayette and I found he had a magic shop. I didn't have my drivers license yet, but I got a ride to his house. I seem to remember his shop was in his house or garage.. He is a very nice man. His name (until this posting) I could never recall, but I do remember a couple of the first tricks he sold me. One was CardWarp, and there were a few of the 3 card tricks. I think one was called the Roadrunner and there was a Pea and Shell card trick. I wish I still had them! My friend the same day bought The Needle Through The Balloon trick. I do wish him the very best!! |

At one time Ron had a brick and mortar magic shop downtown right off the town square in Lafayette. This is close to 35-40 years ago.

Had many late night coffees with Ron while lecturing at the various FCM conferences around the midwest. I miss those times.
