I came across a picture of that female figure I bought from Kem Poyner at the convention - here she is the day I got her outside the Drawbridge;

She really was a great figure, I often wish I kept her even though it turned out I couldn't do a female voice, but it really would have been a waste to have such a great figure just sitting and not being used.

That's a great figure, so many possibilities. How much are Kem's figures?

Oh! Definitely SO many possibilities! I totally had her character ready and material came to me so easily, that's why it was such a bummer that it turned out I couldn't use her, not to mention she was a really fine figure, Kem does nice work.
I think the year I went to the convention was 2004 (wow, it's really been 6 years?) Anyway, I don't remember for sure, but I think I paid around 800. for her, but I recently saw Kem's site and it looks like they're 1950. now.

I can't remember who bought her, it wasn't someone I knew personally.

Kem was quite ill for some time and wasn't making figures at all. I think he may be up and running again and you can contact hime via his website, I think. I have one of his "Bobby" figures that I bought off Ebay from a fellow vent in Canada and he is awesome. Kem does exceptional work and his figures rarely come up for sale. Sure hope you can contact Kem and get one of his superb figures!!

Here's the link to his website;

So I did remember correctly when I posted earlier that he wasn't making any figures for a while due to ill health - glad to see all is apparently well now and he's back at it.
His figures are excellent. I absolutely do not NEED any more figures, so I can't justify spending that much for one, but if I ever tripped across a deal on a used one of his figures, I'd be on it in a heartbeat.

Who makes the best girl figures? Most of the ones I have seen are just boys in a long wig and that's exactly how they look.

Have you seen any realy good ones?

Gotta admit. That girl does look a bit on the mannish side. Wonder if she lifts weights?

That's a gorgeous figure! I can do a female voice. Wish I had the bucks right now, I'd take the pretty lady off your hands (No pun intended)

As I mentioned earlier, she's gone already, sold her about a year or so after I bought her. It took me longer to make myself sell her than it took me to realize I wasn't going to be able to use her, but that was a problem with every figure I had and sold, it was always quite the tug of war making myself sell them.

I checked out the web site and I didn't see her on there. I wonder if he could make her special order?

I fell in love with her! I'm broke right now, but I'd give my right .....to own a figure like that! She has something special. I can do a female voice and I'd give anything for a shot at her!

I can relate, I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her. When I went to the convention and found out he was going to be there and bringing her, I haunted the dealer's room he was supposed to be in, and I bought her immediately. Dhe looks great in the pics, but she looked even better "in person".

I know the feeling....here's a few more pics of her (I shouldn't do this, I already miss this figure);

Here's another pic from the convention, moments after I bought her from Kem;
Image

I had created a webpage for her, and this was one of the pics I had on there;
Image

She also had blinkers to use for that sultry look;

Well those decorative feather things went bye-bye pretty quick, then I wanted to change the hair to a style that would be easier to care for. I probably would have ended up changing it a number of times if I kept her, finding help from someone who knows better about doing stuff with long hair (as you can see from the pictures, long hair is not something I usually have to deal with).
