Oh great, you mean to tell me these springs I bought from Wylie Coyote Incorporated are not going to work? Wonder if they will take them back? Oh well another lesson learned the hard way!

Fingerjack, do you ever feel that you're wasted, or that your knowledge could be put to use in another line of entertainment?

I think you need to get out more Smile

And there I was, thinking Copperfield was wrecked on drugs and was just floating every where Smile

How does Copperfield get high? - now that's a better (and possibly libelous) question Smile

I'm not surprised in the least about the helium pills stories.. when people ask me how magicians make doves appear, I tell them with a straight face, that the reason its doves and not some other type of bird is because doves compress to the size of chicken McNuggets, and usually that explanation goes unquestioned. Doves compressing to the size of chicken nuggets goes unquestioned?

Well when you think about it, they're mostly just feathers and air...

Nope. They're feathers and MUSCLE. That's how they can fly. And it also explains how they can so easily compress to the size of the chicken nugget, they're like little gymnasts... Smile

Doves do not normally compress. It is their nature to expand. They will not compress unless you first turn them inside out.

Turn them inside out? They'd not only be the size of a chicken nugget, they'd probably also look like one. Smile

I hate to tell you magician_carter, but those weren't balloons.

Maybe he was just happy to see you...
The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion which stands at the cradle of true art and true science. Whoever does not know it and can no longer wonder, no longer marvel, is as good as dead, and his eyes are

Wow, thank you very much, Fingerjack, so the big illusion is now revealed! Thanks to the manager who did not delete the explanation! So the world can know the secret!

Since my English is not good enough, and I don't have a Chemistry Dictionary, I want to ask you, what is rytylisticoplycincyniroplythioticythethymen (sp?)?

Is it some kind of carbon chain or carbonated substance? Would you mind asking your personal friend who knows a guy who lives next to a person who works with the half sister of a hairdresser that used to do the hair for the wife of one of Copperfield’s van driver’s step brothers?

Regards,
Smile

Holy smokes! This post is still going? I'm amazed! I can't answer any questions after a nasty email I got from one of Coppy's lawyers, and I sadly found out the stepbrother of the van driver in question turned out to not be a very reliable source, so we may have to reconsider how he really did it.

Interesting note is that NASA refused to comment ... hmmmm, makes me wonder.
