Has anyone purchased "Pariah" by Daniel Madison? If so, what did you think of the ebook? Thanks!

I've bought 'the anthology' and Pariah is part of that.
In my opinion it's a nice device, but I don't use it. For this kind of effect I use something which I came up with myself but I cannot publish it since it already excists. The problem with Pariah (and other types of decks) is that you need to do a s*i**h. With the thing I use you don't need to do that, it's invisible and much easier to make. Daniel is a true sleight of hand artist and I do like his sleights although they are not very easy to master. Once in a while I read a book for inspiration but until today I never used something from him. About the layout of the books...I don't like the foreword and definitions of de-se-pti-on's But that's my personal taste. It doesn't add much to the content of a book. Maybe I'm to critical, but in short; DM is a good artist with original ideas Some sleights (i.m.o.) are hard to master (it's absolutely not for beginners) I personally don't like the long intro's in the books. For the price it's a no-brainer (the anthology).. |
