You'd have to peel the cup off the ceiling.

Pete, I'm sure you could come up with a viable "cup on ceiling" routine if that happened!

I have heard of cup through table but never cup through ceiling.

However, I have a brother and a sister that both have shells as well. I can take photos of one of those when I'm back in the KC area over Christmas.

Hmm. It's the old three shell game after all. I knew it.

How did you "chop" it?

These shells have a "primer" in the center that works like a blasting cap of sorts. After making sure the primer was inert, I cleaned it out and the center of the primer was recessed perfectly to accept the necessary gaff. Virtually no one knows what the inside of a shell casing looks like anyway, but even if they did, this looks pretty normal. An advantage of this cup is that is is so "unique" looking that no one focuses on any one part of it. I have a "tiny" one as well that I use peas with and a RNTII olive as a final load. It was fashioned by someone else into a mini mortar and pestle. I further enhanced it the same way as the other one. The pestle makes a cute wand!
