I'm sorry for posting too much but I just invented a brand new trick or idea
All you have is a block of wood and a simple scale used to measure the weight of jewlery. First place the block of wood on the scale and note the weight of the block. Then the magician tells the block "Weight away!" As if by command the wood becomes very light and to prove it the wood is weighed again and is unmistakenly much lighter! No switches in this trick, the same block of wood is used throughout and can be examined. The scale is normal and also can be examined. The wood can gain it's weight back and lose the weight at any time during the trick performance. And this trick would be within my reach because the secret is very easy If you think you know how I'm accomplishing the effect PM me!!! Please do not even try to solve this right here, thanks! |

I like the idea of changing the weight of a block of wood.
Things that go "CLUMP" on the table are cool. Seems to be inspiring some ideas on this side. Thanks.
...to all the coins I've dropped here

I'm glad you like my idea. With my trick nothing is added or taken away. No special moves. Really neat and clean effect and the weight cannot be duplicated by the spectator.
I had an idea of using a rock painted like a moon rock(yes you could use a rock) and do the same effect. Actually I'm going to use a rock instead of wood. Wood doesn't look mysterious enough. Now a rock that can add weight to itself is very mysterious. |
