Hi everybody,
I searched about this subject but I couldn't find any open topic, so I suppose this has not been discussed already. While searching for some kids magic tricks to add to my show, I was wondering if there was a website out there that sells magic for children only. I mean, is there a website which is specialized in magic tricks for children? If not, what's the best well-stocked website about tricks for kids? Every important website like penguinmagic, themagicwarehouse, ecc, has his own section about those tricks, but they are not usually well-stocked and they always sell the same stuff over and over again. Any help will be highly appreciated Thank you Federico |

Yes, there are many and most attend KIDabra International Conference
Just about anything you want related to KID magic is sold by one of these dealers. Of course there are exceptions.

Hi Dennis, thank you for your answer.
KIDabra looks very interesting. Unfortunately I live in Switzerland and I will probably never be able to come to such a great place. I had a look to the dealers page but it seems like every producer has his own website with 10-20 items. Is there not a well-stocked website with hundreds of props to choose from, so that it would be easier for me (from Switzerland) to make a single purchase? I'm just looking forward to add some new tricks to my show since I begin to receive show request for kids who already saw my entire magic show … which in some situations can be a problem. Thank you and have a nice day! Federico |

David Ginn, Samuel Patrick Smith, Steve Taylor, Jimbo, Ken Scott, Silly Billy, Barry Mitchell, Mike Bent, Tim Sonefelt (Wonder Imagery), Dazzling Magic (Marty Hahne), etc., all come to mind.
They sell props for kids and family entertainers. http://www.dazzlingmagic.com/ More links can be found with a simple google search. Also, as general magic dealers, both Hocus Pocus & Practical Magic seem to have a pretty good selection of kids show & family show magic. http://www.hocus-pocus.com/magicshop/ http://www.practical-magic.com/ I know nothing about Penguin Magic and The Magic Warehouse (you called them "important sites"), as those are sites I don't visit. - Donald P.S. Dennis, on that KIDabra webpage, you have a link to Lock Family Magic (representing Duane Laflin). They are no longer selling Duane's line, as of fall 2009. However, three new (family) sites representing Duane Laflin's products are: http://www.laflinmagicstore.com/ https://laflinstagemagic.com/ http://www.illusionsinstock.com/ (Coming soon.)

Many manufacturers make props for kida and adults, but you should visit:#
http://www.wolfsmagic.com/ http://www.axtellpuppets.net/ these guys are the top of the league -by a long stretch, in my opinion. Then, you can try: http://www.smmagic.com/ http://www.albionmagiccompany.co.uk/page3.html There are loads more, many specialise in silk or feather products. Is there a list somewhere here at the Darlings? Potty |

Also
http://www.derekrutt.com http://www.kandumagic.com I believe both are children's performers who release their own effects. they have some fun stuff. Of course, you don't have to use children's magic to entertain children (and vica versa I quite enjoy using "children's" magic on adults) |

...and he (Derek Rutt) makes some very cool comedy wands.
I just broke out my "Wacky Weasel" after retiring him for four years. I can't wait to put him back in my Christmas shows this year, what a brilliant and awesome-looking prop it is. Of all of Wolf's mechanical products, this has to be my favourite. I highly recommending finding a Wolf prop that suits your style, they really can add class to your show! Potty |

Those are purely childrens magic providers?
I am a big fan of Silly Billy's stuff. Why not mention Denny and Lee or Hank Lee's? James Munton has some neat stuff, not sure of his site. |

Is Penguin still around? They have kids show stuff.
I'm not sure why he wanted dealers that only do childrens magic though. |

I'm not a good salesman like some folks are. I got a PM from a fellow who told me the James Munton address is http://www.magicsells.com
I don't see much word about Mr. Munton but his material is very good, check out his marketing stuff. I'm sorry to all that I didn't put correct links or no link. |

The Topic is "Is there a shop that sells kids magic tricks only?"
This was an easy list to create and most of them I have met at the KIDabra Conference, purchased from, or The PMed me with the correct information. There are hundreds of dealers, and most sell kid magic. I've just listed those I know have a focus on or related to KID magic and tried to stick to the topic. Thanks, I forgot to put KIDabra International name on the list.
Here is an older list of Dealers and I haven't checked these links in a while.
Dealer & Magicians I've Met
Famous Dealers & Magicians As Donald said, feel free to create you own list.
