I also will have to scrounge around for another vintage plastic Coke Bottle on E-Bay (yes, it really is a actual plastic Coke bottle from the 70's). You might have to settle for a cheap imitation though as I haven't seen any on the auction sites for a while. But even at $500.00 I won't be making all that much profit as I'm pretty sure I've got at least $300.00 in labour and material costs in this routine. There's a reason I named it the World's Most Expensive Coin in Bottle Routine The cost alone assures me a certain amount of exclusivity as few I think would be willing to spend the amount of money required to recreate the routine.

Magicmarie,
Seriously, what's your problem. You are so rude and disrespectful. I have just seen the thread you started in the 'ever so slightly' section. You started a topic to see if anyone agrees with your opinion on this magician! What you say about him in that thread is even ruder. Did you know that this Café is for magicians helping magicians? Do you have anything positive or constructive to say? Have you noticed that not one person agrees with you? even in the thread that you started. Seriously man. What's wrong with you. Here's the link to the thread that this idiot started http://www.themagiccafe.com/forums/viewt......orum=115 |

I thought the card trick was great, by the way. Fantastic reveal! I've love to catch you in person sometime, Payne (I'm originally from Bellevue!)

It's been taken down, Sean, thankfully, by the powers that be.
The one unfortunate thing is that the link to the youtube video referenced by Magicmarie was also deleted. I have reproduced the link here for your viewing pleasure: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HbWzDFPZbYI I found both videos to be inventive, intelligent, and most importantly, funny. I did not find the Da Vinci Card trick to be sacrilegious as Magicmarie claimed, at least no more so than the book or the movie. In short, I have become a fan of Master Payne and look forward to seeing more from him. Regards, Alan |

A big thanks to everyone who's watched and commented. I've had 900 hits in less than a week. That's almost viral for me.
I had a great time putting this routine together, and am thrilled that it has been so well received. It has earned a place in my soon to be released next book "It's not Bizarre to Me". Coming out early next year.

Now that is magical entertainment at it's finest...I just hope more "Café Magicians" watch this and learn something from it...You have a routine that plays great for the lay folk (All Ages) and plays even better for the magicians...Some fine tuning here and there....But other than that, you got yourself a hit routine...Bravo!!!!

I would agree with that, and more! I have shown Payne's presentation to several people as an example of how to do a great Power Point presentation...
