Hi!
Is there any instruction availiable where I can find Chinese/Japanese figures? I want to do some twisting for a Chinese Restaurant and I thought it would be funny to do some Chinese sculptures. Dragon, Buddha, Samurai Sword... Cheers! |

How complicated do you want to get?
simple samurai sword: double pinch twist-6"bubble-double pinch twist-rest of balloon is blade. Put a slight bend in the blade. wes holly |

Thanks Wes!
Well, I actually know how to make different swords. ![]() That was just an example of what kind of figures I am looking for. I just thought there were DVDs/books released that are Chinese themed... |

I have never seen a dvd or book with a chinese theme. There are some pieces here and there but that is all.
Bad to the balloon has a really good dragon hat. I just had a interesting idea that you could make the signs from the zodiac. Ask them what year they are and make the corresponding animal. I have never seen a OX balloon so good luck with that one. |

Yes, I also thought about star signs and symbols like Yin+Yang. But I don't want to twist "normal" animals (like a dog or a monkey). I want to add some Chinese flair/style into it.

Just Google China images, and sculpt.
