Here's my magic app-GrandPa's calculator

I am a software enginner and an amateur magician.
Recently, I have been devoting to iPhone App development.

The 1st iPhone App that I wrote is about a Magic Calculator-GrandPa's calculator.
The order of number can be switched. Numbers on screen can be magically reproduced.
The ultimate routine is called "Random Call Prediction".
A totally random mobile phone number holder can predict the card that the spectator just chose.
The mobile phone number is 100% random and is decided by the spectator.
The whole deck of cards can be completely shuffled by the spectator.
Card is picked by the spectator himself.

GrandPa¡¦s Calculator is the 1st xxxx-xxxx-integrating iPhone calculator magic. It was designed to let you perform visual number-changing and ¡§Random Call Prediction¡¨ magic with nothing more than your iPhone.

GrandPa¡¦s Calculator introduces 3 basic routines, 1 advanced routine and 1 ultimate routine. Based on the secrets introduced, plenty of fancy effects can be created by yourself. The only limitation is your imagination!!!

Anytime your friend wants a calculator to pay separate. You firstly let him use this old-fashioned calculator which is 7-segment style. After they finish their calculation, you start to ¡§show¡¨ the ¡§magical power¡¨ of this calculator. Number can be magically reproduced by just waving your hand. The order of numbers can be reversed. Portion of the 7-segment number can be removed. Finally, your friend shuffles a deck of cards, selects one card by himself, and presses a random mobile phone number on the calling page. You start to ask your friend to join an adventure-asking the random mobile number holder to name any card. Then, your friend, himself, dials the mobile phone number he just chose. The randomly-chosen mobile phone number holder will answer the call in confusion but the card that this random spectator is going to ¡§say¡¨ will be exactly the card your friend just chose.

I just update a new version of this app and it supports both English and Chinese right now.
In addition, I revise the problem that the hint page might be accidentally disabled and thus user can not figure out how to enter the secret page.

The core function of GrandPa's Calculator-"Random Call Prediction" is something similar to Mental Killer and iPredict,
The difference is that GrandPa's Calculator possess the capability of customizing the "content" of the Call.
This trick can be with normal cards or ESP cards. Although the basic card technic is necessary, it makes no differences to spectators.

Random Call Prediction:
A deck of card is shuffled by the spectator himself and a card is ¡§freely¡¨ chosen by himself. Then, ask your friend to press a random mobile phone number on the calling page. This number is totally random. Ask the random mobile phone number holder to name any card. This card will be exactly the card that the spectator just chose.

The capability of this app can even be an excuse outgoing call. When your friends want to invite you to join their activities, you can pretend that you have to ask your wife, your girl friend or your family for approval. Therefore you make a phone call and the speaker is turned on. Your friends will feel sad for you because the content of this phone call will ask you to ¡§leave¡¨ right now.

Does this Work with Ipod Touch too ?

Yes Jassu, This app works well with iPod even for the last routine-Random Call Prediction. However, if spectators are familiar with iPhone & iPod, they might notice that something is quite weird.^^
