I got the book, I just ripped it open and was giving a look through. There was a lot of detail and thought put into the layout. I don't have a lot of time toe ven myself right now. I have friends to meet and a midnight movie to go to and I just finished working a 8 1/2 hour shift. But I can say from first look, I'm proud to have paid the full price for it.

Yeah, it does mean something. In this case I assume that he meant "In my opinion the book will be probably good"

Please, can you give a possible answer at my question posted already above?

Thank you very much.

Is it being shipped from the USA?

I live in the UK and wondered how long it might take to get here!

Yes. I bought mine from mr Berglas here in the UK. He told me that it would still be getting shipped from the US.
I'm also interested to know exactly when the books got shipped internationally & also by what means. This book release couldn't have been any more hastle by the sounds of it. Hopefully within the next week or so everyone who ordered will have there copy.
The last book I bought was bulletproof and that arrived very quick after despatch from the US. It was also well packaged in a box. I'm hoping 'the Berglas effects' will be the same. It's not a cheap book after all.
Fingers crossed.

I read previously that unfortunatly there had been technical problems with the printers so that's why there has been a delay.

My understanding that the only delay was caused by the printer mistakenly not shipping priority mail. I got my copy last weekend. It is worth the wait. The book exceeded my expectations.

I ordered mine May 31st and Richard Kaufman himself told me last night that mine will ship on Friday June 10th by Priority Mail
May every day be magic!

Got mine.

So far I have just made it through perhaps a 5th of the book, but I have enjoyed it very much so far. The genii review is very accurate—at least in regards to what I have had a chance to read.

So if you are looking for a magic bullet for the ACAAN, this is probably not what you are looking for... not even close (sorry). This is not a book of a complex sleight of hand, miracle gaffs or really even of tricks (well one trick). This is a book of methods, subtitles and well... a state of being. I know sounds strange. But it is a refreshing change.

This is for serious folks who want to spend time (possibly a lot) changing how they do magic. You will not be doing any of the work in this book in a short period of time. You will probably not be doing "The Berglas Effect" in a week, month (or possible a year)—unless you already do a lot of memory work, estimation work and jazz magic.

But it is pretty compelling...

Everyone look for the Berglas Effect and many consider it like the perfect ACAAN.

I want just to clarify that if you consider this effet:

or this one:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yquvd8dnOwA

like The Berglas Effect you make a mistake.

And also if you consider this effect like The Berglas Effect...

http://soundcloud.com/dodococo/berglas-acaan

This last one is just a statistical method with minimal handling
(This is just the best case and it is not the Berglas Effect )

The core of the Berglas Effect is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96ZksO8kC5E&feature=related
a sequence of effects where one of these will be The Berglas Effect (he builds this impossible effect in his performance)
and for this reason it will be very hard to perform if you are not David Berglas.

The original Berglas Effect is something like the Trick Cannot Be Explained.

(_Louis Cipher_)

Can someone confirms (just who has already the book) that this guy is wrong ?

Nope he is not wrong. Not entirely "right" either, but the core of his argument is entirely true.
