I want to use my IT to perform a floating ball of light effect. Are there any particular balls available anywhere that are light enough for IT and that remain brightly lit for the whole act?

you drown by staying there.

The ball from Lite-Flite would be perfect for what you need. I will send you a PM.

Yes, the Lite-Flite ball would work well for what you are looking for.

You can get polystyrene balls from craft stores.

With these you can paint them any colour for example glow in the dark paint. You store it in light and when the lights dim it glows.

Also UV paints, but you need a UV light which isn't particularly great when working with IT.

Just a few suggestions though.

No problem. Light flite is an effect where a small glowing ball floats around, from hand to hand and finally back into the pocket. See more at:

Hmmm... I looked for it but Penguin doesn't seem to have a demo of it...

It is a clever effect and looks exactly like the thing Pangea was referring to wanting to do. I think most magic dealers have this effect or can get it for you. Check out dennymagic.com or hanklees.
